Windswept Dunes Landscape Jar
This one of a kind stoneware jar is intricately hand-carved with bands of sgraffito decoration. The vessel has a strong presence with its elegant wide form and contrasting black on white design. The carved design is inspired by the sand dunes of Lake Michigan, with motifs of windswept plants and waves to compliment the rolling dunes. A small twist of clay forms the knob of the lid for easy handling. This jar can hold any variety of small objects, or could be used simply as a striking decorative piece.
